If You Seek Amy I know its old news but Britney is truly back. Mixed reviews are pouring in over the new video
and lyrics. I personally think that the video and lyrics are the TICKET. Her clever use of using words to make them mean some thing else is awesome. If you seek Amy really doesn’t make any sense within the context of the song,
“All of the boy and all of the girls are begging to if you seek Amy. This makes absolutely no sense, but if you slow
down and really listen to what she is singing you get a better understanding of the song. “All of the Girls and all
of the boys are begging to F-u-c-k Me. HA, she continues to amaze us all!

As one of the more annoying organizations out there, the American Family Association continues to attempt
to boycott companies that they believe are not Christian enough. While I thought that this was the 21st Century, the AFA makes
me believe that we are living about 100 years in the past. Generally however, the AFA boycotts have been fairly ineffective. For
example, after the AFA launched a nine year bo ycott towards Disney, the company actually enjoyed a raise in profit while none of the group's demands were actually met. Recently, Carl's Jr. has been part of a huge controversy regarding
its work with the AFA. Not for boycotting, but instead for actually helping the group in its anti-gay works. Yes, a huge,
national company that many of us enjoy eating at is actually helping a group who believes that it was gay people who were
responsible for the Holocaust. I thought that Hitler had attacked the LGBT community AS WELL as the Jewish community. Apparently
the AFA thinks otherwise.
But then again, it's not like
the AFA are so kind to the Jewish community either. AFA author Ralph Murphree claims that a Jewish upbringing leads a hatred
towards Christians, and therefore a life of crime. By this logic, apparently I'm a criminal, even with no criminal record
of any sort.
Bottom line: Don't go to Carl's Jr. They are
supporting a group who believes in the DEATH of all LGBT people. It's just sad to see that the same country who has elected
an African American president, is also home to a group who believes that anyone who is gay should burn on an island. It seems
pretty damn hypocritical to me that this group blames the gay community for the Holocaust, when yet, they seem to want to
start another one.

Eon Internship For the next two weeks, I am being forced by my school to participate
some kind of internship with the idea that we need to "get out into the world and work." Luckily, however, I found
a place that isn't just a nine to five boring office that will force me to do paperwork. I think that interning at the Eon Youth
Lounge will be an amazing experience for me because it is such a different environment than what I am used to. It seems that
at school (or at least mine) not everyone can express themselves as I think that they should. Not too many people are openly
gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. making it difficult for people to understand diversity. But growing up for
me, this has always been something that has never phased me. My parents alway surrounded me with different types of people,
whether they were of a different race or sexual background. Sadly though, I think that the next two weeks will go by fast.
But I should be back for more. -Emma

Didn’t you momma ever tell you? Tuesday April 21, in Boston Massachusetts a meeting arranged on Craigslist ended in tragedy. Philip Markoff a 22
year old med student is in custody for murdering the woman who he invited for diner. Currently he is being held without bail.
 And it’s not only hookups
that are dangerous it’s anything really when you don’t know the person you are inviting. I put an add on craigslist
to sell my computer and one of the people who came to take a look at was extremely over intoxicated. He was sort of violent;
I had to end up asking him to leave. The point to this blog is that us as youth need to be very careful when we meet people off the internet. Yes I admit
I have met a couple people off of craigslist and they went well. But it only takes that one time for it all to end.
